Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: August 31, 2026
Our Commitment
United Defense Tactical is committed to making our website and our training accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that access to self-defense and firearms training should not depend on how a person browses the web, and we work to remove barriers that would prevent anyone from learning about or enrolling in our programs.
This commitment applies to all United Defense Tactical locations, including company owned and independently operated franchise locations. Accessibility matters are coordinated through the United Defense Tactical corporate office.
Conformance Status
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
Our website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard. We are actively identifying and correcting those areas.
Measures We Take
To support accessibility across our website, we:
- Use semantic headings and page structure so screen readers can navigate content
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images
- Aim for color contrast that meets WCAG AA minimums for text and interface elements
- Support keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators
- Label form fields and communicate form errors in text, not by color alone
- Review accessibility as part of ongoing website updates and new feature work
Known Limitations
We want to be straightforward about where our website still falls short. As of the date above, we are aware of the following limitations:
- Some videos do not have captions or audio descriptions. If you need the information from a video in another format, contact us and we will provide it.
- Some older blog posts and uploaded images may be missing descriptive alternative text.
- Some third-party tools we rely on — including scheduling, booking, and payment services — are not fully under our control and may not meet the same standard. We can complete any of those steps with you by phone or in person instead.
- PDF documents published before this statement may not be fully tagged for screen readers.
If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, please tell us. Reports from users are the fastest way for us to find and fix problems.
Compatibility with Browsers and Assistive Technology
Our website is designed to work with recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on desktop and mobile, used together with common assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnification, and voice control.
Older browsers, or browsers with JavaScript disabled, may not display all features correctly.
Alternative Ways to Reach Us
If any part of this website prevents you from getting information, asking a question, or scheduling training, we will help you complete it another way at no additional cost. You can call us, email us, or visit a location, and a team member will assist you directly.
Feedback and Assistance
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website. Please let us know if you run into a barrier, and include the page address and a short description of the problem if you can.

Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project. We review this statement periodically and update it as we correct known issues, add features, or identify new barriers.
